SwoonDimples...

I've been meaning to post pictures of these designs featuring polymer clay components by Heather Wynn-Millican of SwoonDimples for awhile now. Since there is currently a giveaway of Heather's work, I figured that it'd be PERFECT timing! (CLICK HERE to enter the giveaway.)

"Tell me who you love and I will tell you who you are."

The cylinder pendant from SwoonDimples in the above design reminds me of ancient Sumerian cylinder seals. Often times these seals were used to sign official clay tablet documents. I think the person who signed their name with this pendant would be a romantic, a poet of the heart. To showcase the white polymer pendant with a Havana brown patina, I used Swarovski crystals and crystal pearls from Fusion Beads, natural brass chain and jump rings from Vintaj, and a shibuichi toggle from my family at Green Girl Studios.

"The heart has its reasons which reason knows not of."

The quotes Heather picks to adorn her pendants are powerful. They are powerful in the way that reaches into your heart and lifts your spirit. I featured this ecru-colored polymer pendant with a Havana brown patina with Swarovski crystals and crystal pearls from Fusion Beads, gold freshwater pearls from Talisman Associates Inc., copper chain from Ornamentea, a bronze heart charm from Candice Wakumoto, and a bronze toggle from my family.

The designs are relatively simple. Their delicacy highlights the polymer pendants and the magic Heather has imbued each piece with.

Beautiful! I think the simple design allows the strong message to show.

Yes, Beautiful! Andrew, I have been wondering why you don't design more jewelry (or maybe you do, but just don't post pictures). I want you to know that every time I see one of your pieces, it just stops me in my tracks...I think your designs are wonderful! Hope to see more :)
