Wire-Wrapped Z Designs in Glass...

One of my neighbors at the Philadelphia show was Georgia-based artisan, Joanne of Z Designs in Glass.  I adore her work.  It's organic, earthy, and simply luscious.  Above is a project that I started on during the downtimes of the show.  The challenge is creating wire-wraps that have an organic and "grown" vibe to match the lampwork piece.

Hard to believe you just whipped this up during downtime! I think you met the challenge of creating an organic wire wrap. Reminds me of vines. Beautiful piece!

That is so earthy. I think it looks like some undiscovered mushroom species or an intergalactic spore floating around. Very cool! Enjoy the day! Erin
