Sailor's Warning...

“Like a red morn that ever yet betokened, Wreck to the seaman, tempest to the field, Sorrow to the shepherds, woe unto the birds, Gusts and foul flaws to herdmen and to herds.”
- William Shakespeare

I stayed up all night long getting ready for the trip today. It'll be a long one... if it happens at all. The sky was bright red at dawn. The photo above doesn't really capture just how intensely crimson it was. In the picture, it looks somewhat soft, orange, pinkish. It wasn't!

An hour or so later the old saying "Red Sky In Morning, Sailor's Warning" came true! It started snowing with a vengeance. I dearly hope that this does not ruin my travel plans for Tucson as I am headed to the airport right now.
